About Carlsbad Housing Agency

Housing & Neighborhood Services was created to engage the entire community in the development and implementation of programs which provide for affordable housing and to help strengthen neighborhoods through partnerships and collaboration. The goal is to enhance the quality of life and sense of community within Carlsbad through focused services, programs and other assistance.

Future Project Information With regard to future rental and for-sale affordable housing developments, the Housing & Neighborhood Services department maintains an interest list. When a project is being constructed, the list is given to the builder, who then may contact you. To be placed on the list, please send an e-mail to Housing@carlsbadca.gov. In the subject line, please state “housing interest list.” In the body of the mes-sage, please include your name, mail-ing address and indicate that you are interested in learning about future rental and/or for-sale developments. If you do not have access to a computer, call 760-434-2882 for an information line about the affordable housing in Carlsbad. If you have further questions, call 760-434-2810.

In addition to the existing affordable housing in the City of Carlsbad, there are also future planned rental and for-sale developments that will be affordable to low income households. The following information is a brief description of future planned projects. Detailed information, such as rental amounts, sales price, minimum and maximum income levels, etc., will be available from the builders at a later date.
