About Oxnard Housing Authority

Established in Oxnard in 1945, the Oxnard Housing Authority (OHA) owns and operates 780 units of federally subsidized low-income public housing. Four hundred and thirty (430) units are located in Colonia Village, one hundred (100) family units are adjacent to Pleasant Valley Road in South Oxnard, six (6) apartment complexes totaling one hundred (100) family units are located throughout the City and two (2) senior citizen buildings with a total of one hundred fifty (150) units are located in central downtown Oxnard.


Mission Statement

The Housing Department's mission is to promote the general welfare of the City by remedying unsafe and substandard housing, and by relieving the shortage of affordable housing for City residents. This mission is consistent with the City's General Plan and laws governing our housing funds and resources.
