About Troy Housing Authority

Troy Housing Authority (THA) is located in Troy, Alabama in Southeast Alabama about half-way between Montgomery and Dothan. Troy is the home of the Troy University Trojans. THA is composed of 422 units of public housing and 215 Section 8 vouchers. All of our units and vouchers are within the city limits of Troy.


Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide decent, safe and sanitary housing to our residents and make our communities drug-free. We provide housing for single, elderly, and disabled families.
