About Los Angeles County Development Authority

Formerly known as the Community Development Commission/Housing Authority of the County of Los Angeles, the agency was rebranded as the Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA) on May 16, 2019.

The LACDA is a dynamic and innovative local government agency created in 1982 by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors. The agency is an industry leader its three core service areas: housing, community, and economic development.
