About Housing Authorities of the City of Eureka

The Housing Authority of the City of Eureka was incorporated on August 6, 1946. The Housing Authority was established to provide clean, decent, safe, sanitary and affordable housing for low-income families. The Housing Authority of the City of Eureka is an independent agency, with operations separate from those of the City of Eureka. Currently the Housing Authority owns and operates several housing projects throughout the City of Eureka, including Eureka Family Housing, Eureka Senior Housing and Public Housing Projects. The projects are low rent and provide housing to families, seniors and individuals that meet income eligibility requirements.


Mission Statement

The Mission of the Housing Authorities of the City of Eureka and County of Humboldt, is to provide housing services to families and senior citizens of low and moderate income. These services include safe, decent, and sanitary housing and related aids to improve the economic and social well being of our clientele.
