About Mt Vernon Housing Authority

We are a very small public housing authority consisting of 35 rental units. We do not issue housing choice vouchers. The Georgia Department of Community Affairs handles Section 8 vouchers for this region.

Despite not issuing vouchers, we do offer subsidized housing and our waiting lists are open. We have 1, 2, 3 & 4 bedroom units in our inventory. If you would like to apply, please contact their office with your name, address and family member count. Also include any family member counts for reasonable accommodation so that we can be sure to send you the appropriate forms. We will be happy to send an application package out to you.
