About Sioux Center Low-Rent Housing Agency New Homestead)

The Sioux Center Low-Rent Housing Agency (New Homestead) is an affordable, low-rent, public housing program administered by US Housing and Urban Development (HUD) guidelines and governed by a five member board. The New Homestead is committed to excellence in assisting low-income seniors and families with drug-free, safe, decent and affordable housing opportunities.


Mission Statement

The mission of the Sioux Center Low Rent Housing Agency (New Homestead) is committed to excellence in our assisting of low-income families, the elderly, and disabled persons with a drug-free, safe, decent, and affordable housing opportunity as they strive to achieve self-sufficiency and improve the quality of their lives. It is our intent to provide opportunities and promote economic independence for our residents. We will create and maintain partnerships with our clients and appropriate community agencies in order to accomplish this mission.
