About McLean County Housing Authority

Welcome to the Housing Authority of the City of Bloomington. This website is designed to introduce you to the housing authority and the services we provide families and elderly/disabled individuals throughout our community.



The Bloomington Housing Authority (BHA) was established in 1947 with the mission to provide low income families decent, safe, sanitary housing and to empower them to build self-sufficiency and pride. Today, the Bloomington Housing Authority provides housing to over 6 family residents and more than 6 families under the Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8).
