About Muskegon Heights Housing Commission

The Muskegon Heights Housing Commission (MHHC) has been serving the community over 50 years. We are a non-profit organzation funded by U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD). We provide paths to self-sufficiency by working with community organizations within the Muskegon Area. Our programs consist of:

Public Housing Program for families, the elderly and disabled.
Section 8 Rental Assistance Program
5H Homeownership Program, Housing scattered throughout Muskegon Heights .


Mission Statement

The goal of this Public Housing Authority funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development is: To provide decent, safe, sanitary, and affordable housing to low-income families; also, to promote economic growth and opportunities that provide self- sufficiency.
