About City of Concord Housing Department

The City of Concord Housing Department has been committed to providing safe, decent and affordable housing to low-income residents in Cabarrus County since 1956. The Housing Department offers affordable rental housing and four (4) public housing sites. The Housing Department administers a number of programs, such as the Housing Choice Voucher Program, the Family Self-Sufficiency Program (FSS), and the ROSS Homeownership Program. These programs help to promote more self-sufficiency and economic homeownership opportunities for local residents.

The Section 8 Voucher program is closed. This agency is accepting applications for Public Housing from Thursdays between the hours of 9:00 and 11:00 am at 283 Harold Goodman Circle. Visit the Administrative Office and fill out an application for Public Housing if you are interested.
