About North Wilkesboro Housing Authority (NWHA)

The North Wilkesboro Housing Authority (NWHA) formerly referred to as the North Wilkesboro Department of Housing and Community Development, through Housing Authority Board Resolution effective July 1, 2003 separated from the Town of North Wilkesboro to become a separate entity responsible for providing safe, decent and affordable housing for the residents of North Wilkesboro.

The North Wilkesboro Housing Authority (NWHA) is dedicated to serving our community's housing needs using all resources available and providing decent, safe and quality affordable housing to eligible families.
