About Pawtucket Housing Authority

For over 70 years, the Housing Authority of the City of Pawtucket has provided safe, clean, and affordable housing for our residents. In addition, we have been an important part of the economic life of the Pawtucket and Rhode Island community, purchasing $16.1M of goods and services in our most recent fiscal year. We employ 54 full-time people, maintain 1100 public housing apartment units, serving 2000 residents. In addition, we administer 720 apartments through the Federal Voucher Program, housing 1400 residents. The remaining sections of our website more fully explains the rental amenities we offer, our effort to improve the quality of life for our residents, and to upgrade our facilities.

The Mission of the Pawtucket Housing Authority is to provide safe, decent, and affordable housing and to establish programs that will educate, enhance, and empower the lives of all the people in the community we serve.
