About Floresville Housing Authority

Housing Authorities Of Wilson County currently offers two housing programs, Housing Choice Voucher (formerly Section 8) and Public Housing. With these options currently being available at the Floresville, TX location, we are able to further assist and help get you into an affordable home.

Section 8 housing, also currently known as Housing Choice Voucher, provides tenant-based assistance. This voucher is offered to low-income families, seniors and individuals with disabilities. We provide payments to the participating property owners to offset what your rent would be under normal circumstances.

Our second option is Public Housing. This is a federally funded, low-rent program which provides housing for families, seniors and individuals with disabilities. These properties are owned and managed by Housing Authorities Of Wilson County. We currently have a waiting list for this program so please call ahead for updates on the status of our waiting list.
