About Terrell Housing Authority

The City of Terrell Housing Department provides rental assistance for eligible very low income families, the elderly, and disabled persons. Under the program, resident's portion of rent is based on 30% of their income. When the regular waiting list is closed, the Housing Department only takes applications for the following Local Preferences: Displaced due to a natural disaster or government action; or victim of domestic violence with a referral from Genesis Domestic Violence Counseling Center, Healing Hearts or Break the Chains of Kaufman County, Texas.
