About Sparta Housing Authority

The Housing Authority of the City of Sparta, created in 1970 by an act of the City of Sparta, provides safe, decent and affordable housing to elderly an/or handicapped low-income residents of Sparta. The members of the Housing Authority are appointed by the Mayor to 5 year terms. The Housing Authority manages one apartment complex, Brookside Apartment at 307 N. Court Street.
